Let’s hang, have some laughs, and make fun of the people with no sense of humor. 🤣 On another note, I have countless comedians who reach out to me, asking to open for a show I am headlining. I’d like to offer a little insight and suggestion. Consider stand-up comedy being a community, not an individual effort. If you are asking a headliner to tour as a featured act, be supportive. You can do so in simple ways by following their Podcast, commenting, and liking on posts or kind feedback with perhaps a personal note. I have actually had comics asking me to get them in the top venues that I work, and they don’t even follow me on IG! Lol I just booked @joyvilla to open for me at Off The Hook in Naples next week and it was because we had a wonderful conversation that led to a desire to hang and work together. There are enough people being negative and even cancelling comedians. I watched the attacks on @jokoy and him hosting the Golden Globes. Why? Isn’t this business difficult enough? Shouldn’t we strive for unity of humanity rather than vilifying someone for their artistic expression? Doesn’t the world have enough negativity? Not sure who is opening for me this Friday at Flappers, but I just reached out to a couple celebrity friends to do a guest spot ahead of me. And the Lovemaster will be there too.
