Damian Hardung Instagram – This is my first time on the Arctic Sunrise. And truthfully, there is so much that I don’t understand about the oceans but I do know that we need to protect them. That‘s what the Global Ocean Treaty tries to accomplish, create the legal framework for Marine Protected Areas (MPAs). With the UN negotiations in March there is now a real chance to protect the needed 30% of our oceans by 2030 (30×30).
