Derek Theler Instagram – I get a lot of questions about my Dexcom CGM and who I have on my Follow app.* The obvious answer is, my wife Lisa! She has been a vital part of my diabetes management throughout the years. My Dexcom CGM can alert her phone through the Share feature when my numbers are out of range. If I get urgently low, and an alarm will sound and Lisa will usually try to get in touch with me to be sure I’m addressing the low. Sharing my numbers with my loved ones gives me an extra level of confidence, while giving them the peace of mind that I am in range.
This feature is vital for parents with young T1D kids as they gain independence, while the parents are confident about their glucose levels. My mother
still has access to my Dexcom CGM readings too, just in case ❤️
