Because of this, I’d like to shed light on their stories and give them the recognition they deserve. There is still a $5,000 reward available for information in Sara’s disappearance. And If you have any information Katelyn Kelly, please call the Menominee Tribal Police at 715-799-3881.

On the morning of March 24, 2003, Melinda McGhee, a 31 year old Licensed Practical Nurse, finished working the night shift at an Alabama nursing home. After getting home at around 8:30 am, Melinda called her husband, Troy, who was at work. Before getting off the phone, Melinda said she was going to sleep until Troy and their kids returned home later that day. When Troy and the kids arrived home at around 3:45 pm, Melinda wasn’t there. Instead, they found signs of a violent struggle and blood inside the house. Concerned for Melinda’s safety, Troy contacted the police to report her missing. Officers quickly arrived at the scene and concluded that Melinda had been assaulted and abducted. Despite a thorough search and investigation, no sign of Melinda has ever been uncovered. It’s been just over 20 years since Melinda disappeared, and investigators are still searching for the person responsible… If you have any information about Melinda’s disappearance, please call the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office at 251-867-0304. #truecrime #mystery #murder #derricklevasseur #detectiveperspective #podcast

Episode 23 of Detective Perspective is now live on Youtube! Martin Roberts was only 19 years old when he went missing in Boone, North Carolina, and even though eight years have passed, and so many people are searching for him, he still hasn’t been found. Even if you’ve already listened to the audio version of this episode, I think it’s important to also give this one a watch. There are a lot of visual clues as to what Martin was wearing when he went missing and his distinct tattoos could help identify him. The last confirmed sighting of Martin Roberts was at around 12:30 pm on April 21, 2016. He was near the intersection of Hardin Street and Rivers Street in Boone, North Carolina. Martin has brown hair and blue eyes. He is around 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs around 145 pounds. He has a tattoo of three mountains on his left inner forearm and a Bob Marley song quote over his right rib cage, which reads, “Don’t gain the world and lose your soul; wisdom is better than silver or gold”. Anyone with information is asked to call the Boone Police Department at 828-268-6900 or Crime Stoppers at 828-268-6959. And don’t forget! This week’s episode is going to be a little different. We’re covering the disappearance of Sara Graham and the murder of Katelyn Kelley. Although these two cases aren’t connected, they do have a couple things in common: Both of the victims are indigenous women and both cases have not received enough exposure. I’m hoping with your help, we can change that. The audio is now live on all podcast platforms.
