Edgar Wright Instagram – If you have @mubi, do check out the hypnotic 18 minute short; ‘JILL, UNCREDITED’ that documents the 60 year career of record-breaking prolific back artist, Jill Goldston.
Made by Anthony Ing (@hometape_),@Charlie.shackleton and @CathBray, this staggering feat of archive is so brilliant. It shows Jill as an extra in many scenes and different guises over the decades. I could have watched another 9 shorts about other prolific extras, but the mind boggles over how exactly they pulled this one off. So time consuming!
Do see it if you can, it’s a very novel way of showing the hidden stars in film & TV.
