In the last few weeks we’ve heard statements from senior Ministers in the Israeli Government calling for the resettlement of the population of Gaza, and for Israeli settlements to be established in Gaza.
That is the textbook definition of ethnic cleansing and must be called out.
War crimes must be investigated by international courts and anyone found responsible must be held to account.
After such death and destruction, it is unconscionable that that the UK Government and Keir Starmer still can’t call for an immediate ceasefire.

I urge the ICC to investigate every potential breach of international law and hold those responsible to account.
These scenes should shame us all.

We’ve since seen concerning reports of a flow of XL Bully dogs to Scotland.
To avoid unacceptable risks to public safety and animal welfare, we will urgently put in place new safeguards.
Not a single UK-based party is offering an alternative to the Brexit-based UK economy that is causing such misery for households and damage to our economy.
@thesnp offers the opportunity to chart a different course, to raise living standards, as an independent member of the EU.
The Brexit-based Westminster economic model is failing Scotland.
@resolutionfoundation say if the UK had the average income and inequality of similar countries, the typical UK household would be £8,300 better off.
The prize of independence is raised productivity and living standards.
It shouldn’t have taken a TV drama for the UK Government to act on the Post Office Horizon scandal.
@scotgov will ensure those wrongfully convicted in Scotland receive justice.
I’ve written to the Prime Minister, backing urgent action to ensure they receive compensation.
This isn’t just a debate about independence.
There are actions the UK Government could take now to unleash Scotland’s renewables potential and create jobs.
Instead of action, like we have seen in the US & EU, the UK is standing still.
We can’t afford more Westminster inertia.
