My mom was a junior high school English teacher in the 90’s, so I’m fully aware of how beloved @rl_stine1’s book series was and IS. It was an honor to be apart of its legacy. As it was an honor and just SO FUN to play Nathan Bratt – an English teacher, himself… possessed by the spirit of an angry teenager. It felt like an homage to one of my favorite performances – Tom Hanks in “Big”. But just much more sinister. Thanks to all the directors for letting me live out some of my physical comedy fantasies. And thanks to my Vancouver-based chiropractor, Kaley, at Alliance Wellness for taking care of my middle-aged body after years of attempting said physical comedy.
I LOVED our whole Vancouver crew – some of the best I’ve ever worked with. Shout out to Rita, Caroline, Zabrina, and Krista in the hair makeup Dept! To Jan and Chris our gorgeous n’ talented camera operators and to all the talented young (does not apply to @robhuebel) cast members with whom I got to work. And huge props to @bencockell who played the angry (misunderstood?) teenager who possesses me – can’t wait to see what his bright future has in store.
