Today, Her Majesty privately met with staff and survivors at @RefugeCharity’s Gaia Centre in South London. The Gaia Centre opened its doors in 2012, as one of the first services in the UK to offer a single point of access for those experiencing violence and abuse. The centre provides confidential, non-judgemental support to those living in the borough of Lambeth who are experiencing gender-based violence. King Charles III of the United Kingdom Instagram – This #LibraryShelfieDay we’re celebrating a very special library – a miniature one! Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, so here’s a unique ‘doll’s eye’ view into one of its most important rooms.

A look at the Dolls’ House Library shelves will reveal a time capsule of the literature of the 1920s including around 175 real books handwritten by authors such as A.A. Milne, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Vita Sackville-West. Although it looks like a comfortable room to curl up in with a good book, you might struggle to fit: the Dolls’ House was built to 1:12 scale!

Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House is open as part of a visit to Windsor Castle. Find out more in @royalcollectiontrust’s bio link or go to www.rct.uk/windsorcastle
