Mark Wright Instagram – Garlic, parmesan, buffalo chicken skewers. Unbelievable. One of the best things I’ve made in a while!🔥🧄

Ingredients (makes 3 skewers):

250g of chicken breast or thigh (I used breast this time but thigh would be so good)
1tsp smoked paprika
1tsp garlic powder
1tsp chilli flakes
Salt
Pepper
30g unsalted butter
6-8 crushed garlic cloves (depending how big and how garlicky you like it)
2tsp finely chopped parsley
2tsp Hot sauce (as much or as little as you like)
3tbsp parmesan

1. Soak your skewers in water for 30 minutes minimum.
2. Cut your chicken into long strips and add to a bowl. Then add the salt, pepper, paprika, chilli flakes and garlic powder. Mix well then thread the chicken onto your skewers (in S shapes). Pack it nice and tightly as this will keep it juicy.
3. On a medium heat melt your butter in a pan then add your garlic and parsley. After a few minutes add your hot sauce. Remove from the heat then pour a quarter of the sauce into a bowl for serving later.
4. Put your skewers into the air fryer then brush the sauce onto the chicken, cook for 5 minutes, then flip it over and add more of the garlic butter before cooking for a further 5 minutes.
5. Sprinkle parmesan over each skewer then cook for a final 2 minutes (or until your chicken is totally cooked through, in total I cooked mine for 12 mins).
6. Wash the brush you used to brush the garlic butter on and using the butter you reserved earlier brush this onto the cooked chicken. Finish it with some parmesan and you’re done!
