Michael Jackson’s short film for “Smooth Criminal” was the sixth of nine short films produced for recordings from Bad, one of the best selling albums of all time.
In addition to being a standalone short film, “Smooth Criminal” became the centerpiece of Michael’s most ambitious film project at the time, Moonwalker, a feature-length film that was released theatrically in various countries outside of the United States.
Thank you to all the faithful Michael Jackson fans and welcoming in those who listened or watched Michael for this first time this year. We wish everyone a happy new year ahead and we appreciate you keeping his legacy alive in 2024 and beyond.

Michael photographed on his first visit to Switzerland in 1979. He brought the Bad World Tour to the Swiss city of Basel in 1988. The album “Blood on Dancefloor: HIStory In The Mix” was partially recorded in Montreux. In the summer of 1997, he returned to the country with the HIStory tour, with dates in Lausanne and Basel.
