Panopticom (Dark-Side Mix) video created by Vnderworld. The video portrays surveillance and connection, ‘The song is based on an idea I have been working on to initiate the creation of an infinitely expandable accessible data globe: The Panopticom. We are beginning to connect a like-minded group of people who might be able to bring this to life, to allow the world to see itself better and understand more of what’s really going on.’-pg
In 1978 Clive Arrowsmith photographed Peter in a number of locations around Bath, including the Roman Baths…
‘I haven’t used trumpet much in my musical career … strangely enough in lockdown, I was sent a video of someone who had done a version of the song ‘What Lies Ahead’ … this trumpeter Paolo Fresu who is Sardinian … I was blown away it was so soulful and poetic in a way, so I invited him to do some stuff and we have some beautiful moments from Paolo’ – PG
Thanks for all your support this year. Here’s to a brilliant and more peaceful 2024. May all your moons be full! love, PG

Looking to the New Year with love… “it sounds trite just to say ‘love can heal’, but I really believe that it is a key element and that when people feel interaction, warmth, giving, part of something alive and not isolated, that they’re much more likely to do well and be able to offer more themselves.” – pg

‘The Court’ music video created by Junie Lau, using AI and stable diffusion to transport Peter ‘to any location, dressed in any fashion, and enable him to experience alternate realities that extend beyond the confines of the real world.’
Lovely to see all your photos with the album. Thank you for the amazing continued support for i/o.
‘The Ultimate Music Guide to Peter Gabriel’ by @uncut_magazine is out now.
‘@nickcaveart Nick Cave does a lot performance, movement and dance work, but these extraordinary figures, for which he is best known, ‘Soundsuits’, are amazing. They are like armour. Beneath all this exuberant colour you can’t actually sense the race, the class, the wealth or the gender of the person wearing the Soundsuit, so, you have that sense that you are not going to get attacked for pre-conceived ideas about who you are or what people like you are like… it’s a very positive spin on a negative situation. Nick’s work is very interesting and unusual and I am very glad that he was happy to be part of this.’ – pg
Live and Let Live, features the return of the singers of Soweto Gospel choir ‘great voices and this deep soulfulness, their additions are always wonderful for me.’ – pg
