Today was day “one” of the last phase of preparation for the AFCON. It’s always a joy to be with my team. In the first training session, I felt the excitement and special energy to face the demanding path we have ahead. We will work hard, and well, to achieve our goals in this competition! 💪🇪🇬 Hoje foi o dia “um“ da última fase de preparação para o CAN. É sempre uma alegria estar com a minha equipa. No primeiro treino senti o entusiasmo e a energia especial para enfrentar o exigente caminho que temos pela frente. Diz-se que, em qualquer parte do Mundo, há um português. Em plena preparação para o Campeonato Africano das Nações, vivi um momento verdadeiramente especial. Descobri que os trabalhadores encarregues do nosso campo de treinos na Costa do Marfim são compatriotas. 🇵🇹 Agora tenho a certeza de que o nosso campo vai estar sempre cinco estrelas. 😉 Foi uma surpresa muito agradável e um enorme privilégio ter tido a oportunidade de partilhar algumas palavras com eles. 😃 They say that there is a Portuguese person everywhere in the world. In the run-up to the African Nations Championship, I experienced a truly special moment. I discovered that the workers in charge of our training field in Ivory Coast are compatriots. 🇵🇹 Now I am certain that our field will always be top-notch. 😉 It was a very pleasant surprise and a huge privilege to have had the opportunity to share a few words with them. 😃 يقولون أن هناك شخصا برتغاليا في كل مكان في العالم. في الفترة التي تسبق بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية، مررت بلحظة خاصة حقا. اكتشفت أن العمال المسؤولين عن مجال التدريب لدينا في ساحل العاج هم مواطنون من بلادنا. 🇵🇹 الآن أنا متأكد من أن مجالنا سيكون دائما من الدرجة الأولى. 😉 لقد كانت مفاجأة سارة للغاية وامتيازا كبيرا أن أتيحت لي الفرصة لمشاركة بضع كلمات معهم. 😃
