Encountering this movie was a big turning point in my acting career. The director said to me, “Actors are unfair. There are some actors who just fascinate you, no matter how good others play out their roles in the same scene. In my mind, Heath Ledger is still hands-down the best actor.” The director, as he was saying this, seemed like he was in the moment of actually filming him. He also said, “Keeping a fresh mind is the most important thing for actors.” From now on, I will do my best while keeping his words tucked away deep in my heart.
