We celebrated our 11th annual Christmas with the Currys🎄by bringing the joy of reading to all 17,000 elementary school students in the Oakland Unified School District—delivering beautiful gift boxes of books to 49 schools. That’s 85,000 books total!📚
We also made an extra special delivery to 800 students at OUSD’s Manzanita Campus, with the help of our village of volunteers and partners. Students received gift boxes of books, backpacks, and other holiday treats. Plus, we announced that Manzanita will be the first of eight @ousdnews campuses to get a revitalized schoolyard in 2024 in partnership with @eatlearnplay and @kaboom! 🎉
