I had the incredible good fortune to start my “Unfunny” tour with 12 shows at the storied Comedy Theatre in Melbourne. So lucky to have such cool, engaged, generous, smart audiences.
When it comes to the singer-songwriter side of my career, I feel a bit like I’ve spent the last decade trying to land a plane… and with this show, the wheels are finally skimming the ground.
Now in that grateful, tired, melancholy mood. You know the one.

Sarah and I watched the whole series. My goodness it’s a fun ride. Gets better and better as the series goes on. Heaps of adventure and skullduggery and a proper romance forming the spine of the thing.
The brilliant and lovely @jamesmcnamara27 and the great Andrew Knight wrote such killer scripts, and directors @jlwalk @corriechen and @gracieotto smashed ‘em outta the park. Stars @samohtsangster @maiamitchell and @officialdavidthewlis are just brilliant, as is every member of the supporting cast.
I have a pretty small role, but had such a great time on set, especially cos I got to hang with and work with so many friends and heroes; @jaydegee @luke___carroll @damonherriman @andrea_demetriades @misstap @fays113 @_susieporter_ @fairyonthewall
Even got to do a scene with young @hylandjude, who played the young version of my character in “Upright”!
