Recapping the massive 48 hour chrono Stage 6 at #Dakar2024 ⏱️
Do you ever get the feeling someone is watching you… 🚁 Stage 4 today 💪 #Dakar2024
Stage 6 🏁 2nd Overall ⏱️ 5th Chrono stage is all done, had one little slip up where I got stuck and had a fall, but nothing big, made it to the finish and I’m happy with that. First week has been pretty average for me, but we’re still potentially in reach, all in all, we’re still in it… feeling good and will keep pushing 💪 #Dakar2024

Stage 5 🏁 3rd Overall ⏱️ 7th Tricky one today, the liaison section part would have been quite dangerous so I’m glad they put that in the road book, but after that it was still just as dangerous. We got through a decent pace, missed a couple of drops and got the heart rate up a little bit. The special wasn’t very long, it was hot and there were some challenging sections in the dunes. For tomorrow we should have a good starting position for the long chrono stage, my plan is to get through safely, conserve a little energy and the bike and hopefully head into the rest day in a strong position overall. #Dakar2024

Stage 4 🏁 15th Overall ⏱️ 8th First part of the stage today was pretty good, towards the end there was a lot of spectators and lines so was a bit confusing. Made it to the finish, I’m not really happy with where we are at the moment but still have a lot more to come… #Dakar2024

Stage 9 🏁 4th Overall ⏱️ 6th Not too bad today, one small mistake but the rest of the day was pretty good. Super stoney and hard to see today in the sun, got through in one piece and onto tomorrow. #Dakar2024

Stage 8 🏁 5th Overall ⏱️ 6th No major mishaps or mistakes today, the first half was all dunes and sand, then after a long liaison we went into the second part of the stage, which was all stones and off-piste tracks and stuff. The caps were a little harder to follow but it felt like we did a pretty decent job there too. 5th gives us a good position for tomorrow, we’ll keep pushing… #Dakar2024

Stage 10 🏁 10th Overall ⏱️ 6th It was a decent stage for me today. I made a couple of little mistakes towards the end, but overall happy with how things went. The boys out front did a really good job, and it’s definitely a mission to try and keep hold of them. My wrist was suffering a little in the rocks out there today, but it was a good stage. I caught Pablo and was riding with him for a bit, then Ross caught up. It was good fun to ride in the group like that. Couple of stages left to go, so we’ll keep pushing and see what happens at the end… #Dakar2024
