We were honoured to attend the @filmtvcharity gala last night at Liverpool Town Hall. Please check out the work that these guys do to provide mental health support to those in our industry, especially during the last few years with the pandemic, strikes and reduction in funding. Not only that, but they offer financial support to prevent skilled professionals from having to leave the industry when times are tough: If we were classed as key workers during the pandemic, then why aren’t we now? The entertainment industry provides not just one of the largest economic contributions to the UK but also a deeply enriching aspect to basically every single person’s life. I urge you to please consider every single person who creates the content you consume the next time you watch a film, a TV show, a concert… The list is endless. Art is not a luxury. It’s a necessity. And we adore our jobs and sharing our work with you. – I’ve watched far too many colleagues leave the industry over the last year or so. Far too many hospitalised with stress. Far too many take their own life. It shouldn’t cost us this much to improve the quality of life for audiences and for us to go out and use our skills to make a living.

Our little family is doing so well 💛 but we’ve still a long way to go before they’re ready to be adopted and we can’t do it without your help: your generosity could keep their tummies full, their litter trays clean, their minds stimulated but calm, their bodies fit and healthy and their room furnished with places to snuggle and climb 💛 we have Fig booked in for neutering and vaccinations in two weeks which will obviously come at a cost – and we’ve still got Kevin and Scout to be seen too! Please help in any way you can – it all adds up. Please share far and wide – we hope you fall in love with them as much as we have. They’re a long way from that dark and leaky garage off the main road in Fallowfield, and Eowyn has recovered really well from her surgery. Her strength is up and her fur is glossy now.
