Our New Year’s Resolution was to be better at not working all the time and honour a weekly date night; this was the first in January and it’s going to be hard to beat!
The food was outrageously, can’t-stop-talking-about-it good, but moreover the experience was SO MUCH FUN.
The team all clearly LOVE what they do and where they do it, their knowledge on the food, where it’s sourced, the (huge) wine list and the history of the restaurant was impressive and we were made to feel so at home.
Shoutout to Ben for the wine recommendation-a grape I’ve never heard of but absolutely loved, and to everyone that looked after us.
I really can’t recommend this place enough: dark and cosy with an epic wine tunnel and lovely food, we will definitely be back.
