Some time last spring I told @benlross to come over and asked him to pls take pics of me specifically for Instagram. I had never done that before and won’t ever do it again (@benlross REMEMBER THIS). I was desperate to make this boy my boyfriend, and The idea was that these pics would make him want to do that. It resulted in a total mental breakdown and honestly almost psychosis and now FINALLY 8 months later FINALLY I’m able to look at these photos and be separate from the desperation. These are the most desperate photos ever taken! I can’t believe it. I look pretty sometimes but DAMN. This was the best I got at one time in my life. Damn

Three years ago today I moved back to NY after living in LA for ten years My second night back I met a skater (my first and last of those characters) and he walked me home after an evening of whippets. My front door had this scribble that said: “You had me at hello.” I really loved that scribble and thought it was a good omen for me. At the same time I was pretty embarrassed by its tweeness so I told the skater that I hated it. Wrong move cus He IMMEDIATELY pulled out a can of spray paint and painted “LIAR” over it ..: that’s what skaters do I guess,,, and it just happened so fast… I couldn’t believe he somehow knew my biggest problem (lying) (it was that obvious)—- and all of a sudden I was forever branded so I wept and had him hold me and then made him sleep with me. The next day I went outside and instead of LIAR it said BE MINE FOREVER ANNIE HAMILTON and it made me feel better but it also made this skater suddenly REVOLTING to me so I told my friends he was actually my personal stalker and I never spoke to him again. My stories are better in NY and I am very happy to be back and will never move away again ♥️

Throw back to the year 2019 when I had no career prospects whatsoever. My dad txted me out of the blue one morning to say that he had a “FABULOUS” idea for a movie I could star in based on a Dostoevsky novel… I excitedly raced to call him. he answered the FaceTime with a big grin. “THE IDIOT!!!!!!!!” — I burst into tears. Then I took a pic Cus that’s just me. Glad I have it.

My most active friend in the reading game @annabaryshnikov recommended I read DAUGHTER by CLAUDIA DEY – so I did.. in one sitting. It rocked me cus it felt like the only book I’ve ever read in which I could give it to someone and say “if you wanna understand me better, read this.” Anyway, When ya read a book, and ya really relate, ya never think that perhaps you are really relating bc the author had you in mind at some point???? @claudiadeytona followed me the other day, so I messaged her that DAUGHTER was my fave thing I read this year, and she said, “did you notice you’re sort of in it?”…. So I went back and saw this source page and I’m SORRY FOR THIS POST but This really is the coolest thing to ever happen to me and obviously this will be the 1st and last time me and Billy shakes are mentioned so close together so…. Wowweee (Read DAUGHTER. !!!! U only have to read the book flap to be instantly sold. It has one of the greatest first AND last sentences of any book I’ve ever read, too)
