Avantika Vandanapu Instagram – this is an ode to everyone who was here for me during this week. i‘ve truly had the time of my life, and am so so deeply grateful for my friends who stuck around and kept up with all the chaos and mood swings and hysteria that came with this press tour. the people in these photos (and many who aren’t in these pictures) are some of the kindest, most thoughtful individuals in my life. getting to experience this alongside some of my best friends was one of the truest highlights of my life. i also want to thank my team for this week (robert, davey, amber, katie, melissa, kerri-ann, raj, maria, greene team, ebone) – there is so much y’all did for me that you did not have to do, every step of the way you all went above and beyond. with so much joy around me, it has also been a bit bittersweet. my mom, who was so integral to my participation in this movie, wasn’t able to be here for everything. she’s currently at home in LA, but i missed her so so much. this was one of the first big milestones that i have experienced without my parents by my side. it was daunting, and while no one can replace my mom or my dad – it was so incredibly comforting to still have people i love by my side. thank you thank you thank you for everything, and for making this such a remarkable, special moment for me. to hopefully, many many more :) go watch mean girls – out now!
