Carla Dunareanu Instagram – 10 Reasons you shouldn’t hold off on that family vacation! (There’s obviously LOTS more reasons but here are my personal picks from our recent holiday to Hua Hin, Thailand!)
It was actually our FIRST real family holiday! (The other two trips last year were for weddings and we were with other family members) this was the first one with just the 3 of us so core memories were DEFINITELY made! Lots of people always ask me if it’s worth traveling with an infant cause they won’t remember anything. And they require so much stuff to go on such a short holiday! The short answer is, YES! It’s ABSOLUTELY worth it!!! They might not remember but YOU will!!! And that makes ALL the difference!
For those curious, this trip was to SO Sofitel, Hua Hin, Thailand. It’s an extremely family-friendly resort. There were looooots of families with young kinds but also had couples who looked like they were having a great time! The resort is HUGE so you don’t ever feel like it’s over-crowded or noisy. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights which was just nice imo 🥰 perfect little getaway. You have to fly into Bangkok Survanabumi Airport and then it’s a 2 hour 40 minute drive South to the coast. Not the easiest to get to, but totally worth it!
And when it comes to the actual travel, I know it can be daunting to get on a flight with a baby and not know if they’ll cry or fuss or get ANY sleep at all! But believe me when I say, it’s manageable! And honestly the longer you put it off, the harder it will be for them to eventually get used to traveling (as with anything!)
