On January 1, 1972 the third solo album from Carole King “Music” hit #1 on the Billboard 200, where it held that position for 3 consecutive weeks. It was produced by Lou Adler, and was her follow-up to “Tapestry”. It features songs such as “It’s Going to Take Some Time” (US No. 12 by The Carpenters), “Sweet Seasons”, a No. 9 hit for Carole King, and “Brother, Brother”. It was recorded at A&M Studios in Hollywood.
