I was delighted to join Belgium’s Finance Minister Vincent Van Peteghem and other colleagues yesterday evening to mark the launch of the coin. Two million of these coins will shortly enter circulation. Did you know that each country that uses the euro as its official currency may issue two commemorative coins per year?
