Man. This is hard. I’m sorry everyone. I really thought we were making progress and had turned it around. His temp was coming up. He was drinking. Sigh. This is not the way I expected this to go after such a great shift last night. Thank you for all your prayers and your unwavering support for myself, my team and Moon mountains mission. Sadely there also has to be room for this part. We are stepping out to the edge of life and death and saying “hold my hand baby” if there is a chance to breathe life we try. So many respond. The life in them comes bubbling up to live bc that is its nature. Some are on their journey onward. I imagine them thinking it’s so kind what we are attempting but they have already begun their drift. Felix. I’m so sorry. You were a special guy. In the short time you were with us you made one of the biggest splashes in town. Be a big beautiful Stallion up there in the stars. Head high, tail up, running through the clouds. I actually pulled over because I felt he wanted to sit up more so I repositioned him and he seems much happier he wanted to be up more he’s moving around more he did kicked me once which was fun but overall I think he’s actually feeling better and he’s his legs have been getting warmer I’ve been massaging them the whole time we’ve been driving just about my arms probably gonna fall off when I get to the vet clinic

With the impending cold front and massive storm about to hit Mena Ar, All these rescued anemic Arabians are being moved to warm shelters around Mena. Their conditions are so fragile that it wasn’t worth the risk. No more babies go down if I can help it. Mother Nature can be relentless and hypothermia is not something I want to contend with. Bowie auction is back Bowie, Texas
10 Reservation babies at the Bowie kill pen Auction. This goal is to raise 2k per baby to cover vet, coggins, vaccines, health certs, initial training and then winter feed for a window until they are adopted to a forever home.
Who knows if we will make it to 20k but however much money we raise I will use it to go to the babies. I always do. There are also a couple direct ships that I may pull. I will make another fundraiser for Mouse too.
Working side by side @allseatedinabarn and I are combining forces to do as MUCH good as we can out here on this kill pen auction floor. Keeping these babies out of the hands of horse flippers and direct ship lots, we are their gateway out of this pipeline. We bring them to gentle peace and then only one more stop. Home. “Mouse” …this gelding looks to have pulled the Moon in with his face. Which is exactly why we would like to return the favor and use the strength of an army to pull him out of the direct ship lot and remove that green kill sticker from his mane forever. Find him a loving home and call it a day. This fundraiser will cover his vet visit, vaccines, teeth, coggins, feet, health certificate and groceries.
