Fearne Cotton Instagram – The pure magic of finding ammonites. I found this beauty on the south coast last week. Picked up a flat sheet of rock, cracked it open and it somehow landed in two perfect halves with this in the middle. Not only is it a beautiful treat to find one but also a good leveller. It could very well be an imprint from millions of years ago. A creature that thrived then died during a period of time so long ago I cant get my head around it. This always gives me perspective. We are here for a tiny fraction of time so we might as well lean into the good and simple things, and not sweat the small stuff. When I’m in a spin of anxiety I have to think big like this. My worries seem a lot smaller when I think of how much has come before my tiny life.
Swipe for other moments of simple joy this week. Laughter, family, pink skies and barbie manopoly. 💗

Fearne Cotton Instagram – Meet Frankie, AKA super Frank.✨️
You may have seen that I’ve been talking about @themayhew quite a bit on here recently. It’s an amazing rescue centre that’s been around for well over 100 years. I first visisted the Mayhew in my teens, then adopted Lula and Keloy from there when I was 20. I was so lucky to have Lula and Keloy for 21 gorgeous years. I still miss them so much.
As many of you know we then adopted Simon in 2022 who had been abandoned at our local veterinary clinic.
Then before christmas me and the kids visited the mayhew to look around and fell in love with Frankie. He is so confident and cuddly and purrs non stop. We brought him home yesterday and he is settling in nicely. Obviously Simon is PISSED off so we are taking it slowly and keeping them in separate rooms for now. They can see each other through a glass door and can smell each other for now. Will let you know how we get on. We are all making sure to give Simon a lot of love so he feels safe.
If you are thinking of homing a cat or dog I urge you to check out @themayhew and the incredible work they’re doing.
More Frankie updates to come. ❤️

Fearne Cotton Instagram – Thoughts as we head into a new year ✨️
Fearne Cotton Instagram – One minute she was a tiny kid with missing front teeth, the next minute she’s two inches taller than me and at uni.
It’s a cliché, but it whizzes by.
Lola and I had a lovely day out yesterday at the @nationalportraitgallery
The last picture is my fave. Spice up your life.
We both love to paint when we can so it was wonderful to soak in all the different techniques and styles. I must get my brushes out soon.

Fearne Cotton Instagram – Imposter syndrome is likely to affect all of us at some point in our life; Michelle Keegan still feels it every time she finishes an acting job.
In this chat with Fearne, @michkeegan talks about her disciplined work ethic, as well as how she’s learnt to cope well with the amount of rejection in her industry. They also chat about why setting boundaries – especially drawing lines between personal and professional life – is so important. Plus, they wonder why it still feels important in adulthood to seek validation from our parents. Available to listen now or watch on YouTube ✨
Fool Me Once is available to watch on Netflix now.
Fearne Cotton Instagram – What if instead of New Year New Me, we switched it to New Year More Me? Tapping Queen and Happy Place App contributor Poppy Delbridge feels we should elevate the joy and possibility we already have inside us.
In this chat with Fearne, @poppydelbridge talks through the practice of tapping, and how it can help with everything from dealing with phobias, to breaking negative thought patterns, and visualising the future you want.
They also talk about why acknowledgement and acceptance are big parts of moving forward from your current difficult situation. Plus, there’s a live tapping session to help you go confidently into the new year.

Fearne Cotton Instagram – First sighting of my NEW book Little Things in my local @waterstones 📚
I will never not be excited to see my books in shops. I’m extremely grateful that I get to write books and put them out into the world.
This book is about stress and how we manage it. I interviewed some incredible stress experts and people I love about how they have navigated stressful life situations. It was also an opportunity for me to get curious about my own stress levels and triggers. It’s safe to say I learned a lot along the way. I hope it helps.
Ps sorry @steven 😬

Fearne Cotton Instagram – Hands up who is stressed?
Todays live was all about how we manage stress with @owenokaneten
Owen kindly contributed to my new book Little Things and has a lot to say about why we are stressed and how we can reframe our thinking.
The outcome of this chat might not be what you’re expexting. How much control do you have over your stress levels? Maybe a little more than you (and I) think.
Huge thanks to Owen and to Frank the kitten for making a couple of appearances.
Fearne Cotton Instagram – Little Things is out today.✨️
What a curious joy it was to dive into the subject of stress. The subject is so huge that at one point I nearly abandoned the whole project. Writing about stress is strangely conducive to feeling….well quite stressed. Yet I’m glad I pushed through as I learned a lot about myself and my own stress triggers as well as some top coping mechanisms from experts and mates.
One of the game changing learnings from writing the book was to cultivate awareness of whether I’m reacting to stress or responding to it. When we react to it, it’s usually habitual and learned behaviour from childhood. When we respond we take a moment to pause and look at what is really going on. I’m trying to practise that one (with varying degress of success) daily.
I hope you find it helpful.

Fearne Cotton Instagram – A sneak peek inside the covers of my new book Little Things. I delve into how stress can turn to burn out, people pleasing and stress, how perfectionism creates tension, and how stress is stored in the body. There’s plenty of room for you to write down your feelings and explore how you experience stress too.
Speaking to the experts in this book helped me to get curious about why I get stressed and how I habitually react to it. I can get hot headed pretty quickly and am a massive work in progress when it comes to managing it all so this book was a big learning curve for me.
The book is called Little Things as I don’t believe any of us can live completely stress free (stress can even at times be helpful in pointing us in the right direction) and I didn’t want to make huge promises on the front. It’s full of little things we can do to keep an eye on stress and make incremental changes when it feels right to do so.
