Time really flies! It’s been more than twenty years since I last visited my hometown, Wenzhou.
2023 marked the “70th Anniversary of the Wenzhou Wushu Association”, and for the occasion we’ve visited a few important institutions like the “Wenzhou Martial Arts Museum” in which my mother and I have been honored for our accomplishments, as well as the “Wenzhou Wushu Team Headquarters”.
I could not miss the opportunity to visit one of my early Wushu teachers: Master Shen, who is now in his 80’s and still practices on a daily basis and displays great strength and agility.
I’m really glad I took the time to go back and see my relatives and friends again! And even though the city has transformed so much, the food was delicious as ever. Thanks for the warm welcome 🤗 See you next time!
