Jessy Schram Instagram – I had the honor of working with Andre Braugher on “Last Resort” back in 2012. Andre Braugher had an effect on everyone around him. He was a grounded, strong, warm, thoughtful and commanding presence with a booming, vibrant voice and deep layered talent with heart. I only got to work with him briefly, but 11 years later, I still reference our conversations, his approach to the art of acting, his curiosity in others’ approaches and the deep love he expressed and held for his family. I learned so much from getting to observe his work and work ethic. He chose creativity, human-ness and respect. Though they were small interactions, so many years ago, he had a massive impact on me and I always hoped I’d have the opportunity to work with or see him again and share the effect he’s had. So, thank you Mr. Braugher for your presence. And the gifts you’ve shared.
