Seeing all the young girls with their signs and their team jerseys- I’d seen it all week on TV but to see the impact @thepwhlofficial is having first hand was truly remarkable. Congratulations to @pwhl_toronto on their first win, and @natspooner5 scoring their first ever team goal.
I’m honored to have been on the broadcast for this game and for this movement. It was my first ever time as an in-game analyst (so glad to have an absolute pro @jamiehersch on the call with me who QB’d our broadcast despite losing her voice) … and while I have plenty to work on, I’ll never forget @pwhl_newyork HC Howie Draper and GM Pascal Daoust saying “just because you haven’t done something doesn’t mean you can’t do it… we’ve never done this either.” 🥹🗽

Gratitude for the health and happiness of my family and friends
Raising awareness for cancer research funding
Creating new ways to make content for things I love
Letting go of pushing for things that weren’t happening professionally and personally
Having the courage to make one of the hardest decisions of my life, and choose myself.
2023, you weren’t easy, but you forced me to be uncomfortable… to sit with those messy feelings so I could try to figure out who I am and what I want (an ongoing process). I will always be thankful that 2023 gave me the gift of helping me grow.
