Julien Baker Instagram – This year has been so beautiful, so overwhelming, so replete with experience, so challenging and brain-bending, that I can hardly look away. I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by people and met with situations that demand my attention, and I’ve been honored with the chance to show up for them (and lucky that @saladjockey has been there to artfully capture all the moments I most want to be awake for). I’ve been so proud to share the stage with my musical heroes and friends— prouder still at how often those two categories overlap. Every day I watch a huge community of touring professionals rely on each other to make something magical happen, and every day I get to see the gift of wonder, joy, and respite music brings to people.
