Juliette Lewis Instagram – Remembering Lemmy on the day of his passingā€¦ I have a few exceptional experiences with this King. The biggest one was when he invited me to sing back up on the song ā€œKilled by deathā€. My band played with Motƶrhead opening for the Foo Fighters in Hyde Park in the UK. (you can have a little YouTube dive and see) I was terrified to be on stage with Motƶrhead in front of that many people, but that was a time in my life I was on a mission to JUST SAY YES to any soul expanding creative opportunity -fear be damned – so there I was with a nice Brazilian girl (Lemmyā€™s friend) who coached me along as we scream-sung ā€œKilled by death!ā€ into the microphone in front of 75,000. All you could hear and feel on stage were the buzzing of wall-to-wall Marshall amps. It was a electrifying and Iā€™m sure I left my body as I levitated off the stage. šŸ˜ƒ one of the most amazing things also was how gentlemanly and soft-spoken he was offstage, and the sheer force he was on.
