Happy New Year!! We hope you’ve had a fabulous festive break, and now it’s time to dive in to 2024 as we deliver our first episode of the year! This week we welcome Laura Whitmore & Iain Stirling, who joined us for lunch at mum’s. Laura & Iain came to talk about food and also their brand new true crime show Murder They Wrote on BBC Sounds. We found out all about our shared loves (and it wasn’t true crime); mum & Iain both love haggis (yuk!), Laura & Iain would do anything for a dozen oysters covered in Tabasco sauce, Laura & I salute pineapple on a pizza, and we all also bonded over our adoration of friend of the show @kadiffkirwan! Laura Whitmore Instagram - Not another best bits video but feck it I’ve jumped on the proverbial bandwagon! And nice to end the year on a positive. To say this year has seen a lot of change is an understatement. Thrilling and terrifying simultaneously. I always feel it’s important to challenge yourself, follow your heart and not get too comfortable (though enjoying my fluffy Christmas slippers the past week) From finishing my first west end run, a documentary series, my first chat show, cast in two feature films and two tv series (out next year), a new bbc podcast, a clothing line, moving house and running after a toddler who likes to hide (that’s definitely been the most fun if exhausting) it’s been at times a massive juggle. I just want to thank you all for the support you’ve shown me as I’ve played around with new roles. And a reminder that it’s never too late to take on a new challenge. Love to you all and here’s to a happy and healthy 2024❤️
