1 year and 1/2 ago, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She has been spending every other week getting treatment at City of Hope in Duarte. This was taken last Christmas at the hotel on their property. My daughter thought it would be fun to all wear light up headbands for the early light show we were all going to see that night. My mom was too tired so we just lit up our headbands and had our own light show. 🥳⭐️🎄❤️ her cancer has spread to a membrane under her lung and just over a week ago, COH said there is nothing more they can do for her. My dad is searching for other places to find treatment right now. 🙏My mom is an inspiration, a fighter, and so strong. I am grateful for her and her time. I am also grateful for my dad who relentlessly pushes forward and encourages my mom constantly to live and not give up. And as for Isabella…well, she is my everything. Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers out there. We see you and we love you!

It took me a minute to post about Ben. It was the pain that prevented me from posting earlier. Ben Masters was an extraordinary human. So talented, so witty, such a pleasure to be around and such a gift to work alongside. My favorite memory is this: if any of you watched Passions, the character I played did a lot of questionable things and there were times I would be stressed or anxious playing her because of it. One day on set, I was in a scene with Ben and he picked up on my anxiousness and inquired. I told him my concern and looked at me so empathetically and with a gentle smile said, “ if it’s love, is it wrong?” And this huge relief washed over me. He understood and just had that power to make you feel better. He was so aware… As you can see from the picture, we went to hell and back…but I felt completely safe for the whole ride. So many love you Ben. You are in our hearts.
Been a little quiet, but coming back with an even deeper meaning of life. Heading back to work, doing what I love, and with people whom I love too ❤️
