Madelyn Deutch Instagram – the wedding i had would have been so different without my sister. zoey made everything funner, easier, more beautiful. she gave me a scrapbook the day before i got married, filled with notes from the women i love and admire the most. she threw a sunday brunch with tattoos, smashburgers, and spritzs and no one wanted to leave. she wrote a totally brilliant speech even though she says she can’t write (she can freaking write!!) she handled alterations, hair and makeup, bachelorette, crises, emails, and a million more to-do’s that i probably don’t even know about because she took it off my radar. i know weddings can seem performative or trivial – but the absolute spiritual explosion that can happen when you get to move through this portal with your sibling by your side, is humbling and worthy of our attention. it was a surprise to me that got to experience such peak joy, and my little sister was a fundamental reason why. thank you @zoeydeutch ❤️ | Posted on 16/Aug/2023 23:55:43
