Maud, I am so proud of you having your first solo exhibition called Experimental Sprouts @gallerisoon ending on 23rd December.
Your paintings and prints are so beautifully expressing where you are in your art journey. I love the different styles and you trying out different genres. Special to be there with your aunt @anjabjorshol, experiencing your art through her expert eyes. I loved meeting all the touched people encountering your art and reading the poems with a tear in their eye. You touch people deeply, Maud, through who you are your art. I am really proud of you, darling.

Finally this year comes to a close. It has been a year filled with a lot of good things to be grateful for overshadowed by the most gruesome acts happening in the world. The world is on fire, not only from the literal fires caused by global warming, but also the fires of war. You have to be hard as stone not to be affected by what atrocities are happening in Gaza and Israel in addition to Ukraine.
We are here on this planet together, still we don’t take care of her, we don’t nurture her or each other from love. We still want to kill and destroy.
Why?
Why are we humans so intent on tearing down. Why do we not focus on sitting down and solving problems through communications? Why don’t we find new and more peaceful ways of solving problems? It saddens me to the core to see civilians – especially children – die. I feel for the ones left behind losing large portions of their safety net, their family and friends. I grieve with them. Like so many do.
I hope for 2024 that we see more peace. More heartfelt communications. That we will see the value in all people and also our planet, who is our livelihood.
I focus on love for 2024, bringing more love into the world. Seeing love, feeling love. I pray for the world to finally receive love. That love prevails and that we all wake up to a world driven by love, not fear and destruction. I believe we have the potential. I believe in us humans and the best in us. Welcome 2024 in the name of LOVE.

2023 – an eventful and memorable year for Hést🌟
From our first ever party in February, through CIFF Revolver in Denmark meeting more of the world, expanding to new countries like Dubai, Australia, Switzerland and Italy among others. Creating clout at numerous events in Norway and abroad, throwing our soon traditional Hést Party ignited at Rampen Bar, showing our clothes to customers in Norway and abroad, getting new amazing agents, having more parties and celebrations, expanding our staff from 9 to 15 after almost doubling our revenue this year! Employing our first men in our women lead business, topping everything by winning the Business of the Year Award at the Norwegian Elle Gala and finishing it all off with a surprise kickoff from our wonderful CEO Marianne Kjærnli Fossum.
We are so lucky and grateful to have people with such wonderful skills in our business. You all elevate the dream of building a brand for everybody and every body, merged with the liberating thoughts of inclusivity bridged with intuition.

Yesterday, we celebrated the incredible year we’re about to leave behind and launched into the exciting possibilities of the upcoming year. 🥳
After productive meetings outlining our plans and goals for the next year, we were fortunate to be treated to surprises throughout the day. 👏
First, a thrilling rib-trip in the wavy ocean with @stormevent 🌊, accompanied by delectable oysters and champagne from Hvaler itself, @stormoysters – truly an unforgettable experience! 🤩
Later, we enjoyed delightful food and drinks courtesy of @beachclubfredrikstad 🍽️🥂. Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, our own family and friends surprised us at the office. Lastly, Oda Gondrosen @odagondrosen joined us, hosting a fantastic intimate concert that filled the air with Christmas spirit. ✨🎄
