****UPDATE!!! Great GREAT news! He’s been reunited with the owner so ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS microchip your dog. Always. I’m doing a happy dance. DOG FOUND RUNNING AROUND THE STREETS LAST NIGHT @montecito/ griffin /ave 52 along the playing fields. Is this your dog? He’s wearing a harness and knows how to sit. I took him to Ave 26 small animal hospital. He has a chip so by law they had to take the dog from me while they try to contact the owner. If no owner the dog goes to the shelter. All shelters are at capacity so we know what that means. If ANYONE wants to foster this sweet boy to buy him time, I would love to connect you. 🙏🙏🙏 He’s young. Trainable. Sweet as hell. Didnt chew anythint wxcept my dogs toys. Hes housebroken. Cmon you know you want him.

I beg of you to stop whatever you’re doing and let the words of (my) #RabbiSharonBrous on the latest @ezraklein podcast penetrate and jostle loose your clenched jaws. Here’s what’s simple. Cease fire and return of hostages. Everything else is nuanced COMPLICATED and requires all of us to hold many truths simultaneously. Some so ugly and some so beautiful. Some against our perceived narratives and some in line with our critical minds. @ezraklein and #rabbisharonbrous have a powerful dialogue and every sing word out of her mouth is clear and enlightening at a time of darkness, antisemitic and Islamophobic saber rattling. Please pressure your reps to push for a peaceful resolution. To stop the bombing. Stop the suppression of critical speech but also, hold your friends accountable when they rattle off either dehumanizing antisemitic or dehumanizing Islamophobic jargon. Both regions must win or everyone loses. BOTH. And Netanyahu and Hammas must go but not at the expense of civilian mass casualties. Peaceful leaders need to step in ASAP and come to a peaceful resolution. It’s what the majority of Jews and Palestinians want. We can do it. But being divisive and hateful ain’t gonna get us there. Sorry. But it’s not. May there be peace. May all brings be happy may all beings be free. peace in the Middle East.
