On my way to my New Year Holiday destination, as we drove through the beach front community to the resort in Ouidah, I saw a bunch of Happy Kids just running around, playing, waving and just being Kids.
That picture lingered in my heart for a minute, I wanted to be a part of the Children’s Joy, to be a reason they have even bigger smiles and a wonderful New Year!
So I asked my Lodge’s owner and manager if it was okay to have a mini party for the Kids and mothers of the community.
I asked for a figure(number of kids &Mothers), booked the venue(the resort’s beachfront), arranged for some bags of rice, oil and a chef to cook some local delicacy for the kids, sent for gift items from Lagos and arranged to have it transported to me and Voila! Lunch with Nancy was brought to Reality!
As hectic as it looks, I had such a great time!
