Nancy Isime Instagram – On my way to my New Year Holiday destination, as we drove through the beach front community to the resort in Ouidah, I saw a bunch of Happy Kids just running around, playing, waving and just being Kids. That picture lingered in my heart for a minute, I wanted to be a part of the Children’s Joy, to be a reason they have even bigger smiles and a wonderful New Year! So I asked my Lodge’s owner and manager if it was okay to have a mini party for the Kids and mothers of the community. I asked for a figure(number of kids &Mothers), booked the venue(the resort’s beachfront), arranged for some bags of rice, oil and a chef to cook some local delicacy for the kids, sent for gift items from Lagos and arranged to have it transported to me and Voila! Lunch with Nancy was brought to Reality! As hectic as it looks, I had such a great time! My heart bursting with Joy!😄🥰 Of all the Gifts of the Spirit, Love, Joy, Peace, Kindness and Goodness remain my Favorites and I do everything in my power to practice these everyday and everywhere I go. I’m thankful to God for causing my plans and Idea for this day to come to fruition even under such short notice and barely any planning. I’m thankful to the resort’s owner, Manager & Staff for doing everything in their power to see to its success. I’m very thankful to the mothers & kids of the Laguna, Ouidah community for letting me partake in their Joy and start their New Year with some goodies..Even with the language barrier and me being a complete stranger, my invitation was still honored and respected. Shoutout to my girl Adaora for agreeing under such short notice to bring the gift items over as well as help me out during our mini lunch party. Shoutout to my amazing team for co-ordinating/helping with the market runs for the gift items.
