Nell Hudson Instagram – More canary spam incl. video of eagle (?) flying in the canyon. I can’t express how grateful I feel this time around (this not being my first January sun-seeking holiday) for the injection of light, warmth, sea-swimming and just visual feast of green that we got on this trip. Coming from the grey wintry city of London into that reminded me of Dorothy stepping into technicolour Oz. Vitamin D levels feel sufficiently topped up to get us through to Spring. Coincidentally but appropriately – whilst there, the book I read was “The Beginning of Spring” by Penelope Fitzgerald, which was just a wonderful, mysterious delight and will now forever be associated in my mind with that island, and being able to see green mountains from where I was lying on my bed (pic of this view in last slide.) | Posted on 27/Jan/2024 21:18:14
