(For the foodies among you we did the homemade tagliatelle with a very simple tomato sauce – roasted tomatoes on the vine in oil, then transferred dish from oven to hob, removed vines, added garlic, onion, basil and a teaspoon of sugar and simmered before tossing in with plenty of pasta water.
