Parno Mittra Instagram – I greatly admire @parnomittra – a phenomenal actress but for me what truly matters is the person that she is No nonsense, extremely sensitive to art and has a great eye for it, cares for the real things in life – almost a loner who spends a lot of her time reading, writing and immersing herself in literature and poetry, I loved having her over as a a Guest of Honour for the second day’s opening of my show on Vrindavan’s widows – Lest We Forget – A Sisterhood called White at the fabulous Kolkata Centre for Creativity. Parno was truly moved by the show. She had an injured foot from her recent trip to Sri Lanka but she still came, limping. That says a lot about her commitment to the arts and a dedication to our friendship that goes much beyond who we are in public spaces. She is like family to me – an absolute fire cracker of a girl with the largest heart
