Richa Shukla Moorjani Instagram – Because I like to keep it real- my first time attending a major awards ceremony and carpet was both humbling and eye opening. I’m beyond grateful to have been there, especially with my extraordinary cast mates and the brilliant minds behind @fargo who truly deserve every accolade – yet all I could think about was the fact that I barely saw a single person in that room who looked like me, and I felt utterly isolated. It was a big reminder (in case I needed another one) that there’s still so much work to do to amplify our presence in these spaces, and we’ve just barely scratched the surface for South Asian representation.
