For every little girl her first hero is always her father. I was no different. He loved his college. Xaviers not only looked like Hogwarts but it felt magically listening to my father describe it. So studying at Xaviers was always a dream. 82% was never going to be enough to get me admission there. But sport & my sister came to my rescue. My state level badminton certificates attested, my sister stood in queue & lo behold my name was on the sports quota list at St. Xaviers college. My proud father drove me from Nasik for my investiture ceremony. He couldn’t contain his excitement. The moment I stepped into Xaviers I realised why. My father took me along showing me his class & the terrace, like he was showing me his childhood house. I immediately felt at home.
I didn’t realise how much this college was moulding me into what I am. I spent the 5 best years of my life having fun. Malhar security, playing 9 sports, soaking in the music theatre & in between this studying. I learnt how to dream, to live, to love to fight for what is right, to become a better person. Xavier’s was not a college it was a way of life.
When I passed out,I immediately started modelling & auditioning for films. I realised how the world outside is not Xaviers, its not such a happy place. People are not kind, life is not fair & the struggle is real. But my professors had prepared me well. My friends have been my support system everytime I have been down. So for me making my family, friends & teachers proud always remains my first goal.
A few days ago I was called to college where they felicitated me for Ghoomer. This time around I drove my father from Nasik. My professors met me with their eyes filled with pride. My father took me around again showing me same the class & the same terrace, this time it took longer, I had to share my memories as well. He watched me go up on stage, heard all the kind words of praise & couldn’t contain his excitement, with tears flowing down his cheeks. My first hero was very proud of me. I hope I can continue to make him, my family, friends & teachers feel proud. I have a long long way to go, but this part of my life, this little part, is called HAPPINESS ❤️

I loved this new shade I have tried, it perfectly breaks my curls making me want to show off my new hair!
Thanks to the @lorealparis Casting Creme Gloss Ultra Visible, I’m just in love with my hair.
It has no ammonia, gives a vibrant colour even on dark hair, and lasts 32 washes. It made my hair 5X glossier and shinier even on dark hair.
I chose the Shade 532- Salted Caramel from their new Ultra Visible Range.

When you get all you want and you struggle for self,
and the world makes you king for a day,
then go to the mirror and look at yourself
and see what that man has to say.
For it isn’t your mother, your father or wife
whose judgment upon you must pass,
but the man, whose verdict counts most in your life
is the one staring back from the glass.
He’s the fellow to please,
never mind all the rest.
For he’s with you right to the end,
and you’ve passed your most difficult test
if the man in the glass is your friend.
You can fool the whole world,
down the highway of years,
and take pats on the back as you pass.
But your final reward will be heartache and tears
if you’ve cheated the man in the glass.

Cricket fever is all over. I am very excited for the Ind NZ game today. But I’m also very very excited that Ghoomer is out on Zee 5.
Just sharing a quick look into the many hours that went behind becoming Anina the batter. From batting with my right hand, to learning to play with my non dominant hand and then learning to play with just my left hand.
Ghoomer has been the best experience of my life and I will forever be thankful to Balki sir and the entire team.
If you haven’t watched the film, please do watch Ghoomer on Zee 5!
Also let’s go team India!

It’s been just over a year since FAADU released. It’s a show I am very very proud of.
Manjiri – her love for poetry, honesty, for upholding her values, her fearlessness and sense of security. This character is very special and I wish there were more Manjiri’s in the real world.
Faadu made me a more confident actor but more importantly it taught me many life lessons and I found friends for a lifetime. That for me, is the biggest take away from every project I do. The friends I make and the learning’s I have for life. So thank you to everyone who made Faadu – Faadu ❤️
(For those who haven’t watched it please do watch it on Sony liv)
