Happy Birthday my love @mr.kristopher ❤️ It was August of 2012, the year I bumped into you in a random warehouse in Hoboken, New Jersey for a design show. What an honor it’s been to celebrate 12 birthdays with you. I’m so proud of the family we’ve built from East Coast to West Coast, but more importantly I’m proud of the husband and father you’ve become. You really are a rare gem. He has grown into the most adventurous, kind hearted, communicative, funny, loving, bright boy. I learn so much from him every day. He reminds me to stop and have fun…. And he “pinky promised” me he will never… ever let me dance alone in public. He says “Mom I got you. Let’s do it!” 🥹

For this space, we took a creamy yellow family room and transformed it into this magical beauty. This design was solely centered around a love for nature and family memories sitting around a fire at a cabin. We played off of the existing slate floor and wood ceiling, and kept it simple by adding different textures and finishes, from the fireplace material, paint finishes, drapery and even accessories.
