I would be in charge of project design, pattern writing, product curation, marketing, media content, and anything else creative. I had longtime been wanting to add a retail aspect to my overall offerings, but with a very full plate hadn’t yet figured out a viable, responsible way to do that. This seemed ideal. I cannot even remember the last time I’ve had the chance to knit or crochet an entire garment for myself, purely for the sake of making. I’m so happy to have this graphic beauty as part of my black-and-white wardrobe era. 😜 📝Daley Hex Cardi by @sarao_designs 👷♀️Modifications: I added about 6” in length to the body, granny square pockets, and knit rib sleeve cuffs 🧶 Leftover Woolpaca from my discontinued, co-branded yarn lines with Deramores #memade #crochetersofinstagram

#tbt 2015 Annual Knit Simple Magazine (R.I.P.) photo shoot for my former column. For this one, I coerced my middle kiddo Tristan, into modeling so we could take a mother-son trip to NYC. I’ve been able to do so many wonderful things in the name of knitting. 💗
A.I. is weird.🎄Happy Christmas Eve! #merryme

If I had to pick the happiest of my designs from 2023, I think it would be this bobbles-and-striped cowl from our 12 Days of YAY! (Advent) box. I mean, just looking at it makes me feel cheery! Need a little knit-me-up in your life? Well, now you can get the Bubbly cowl pattern in my Ravelry shop (link in @vickiehowell bio). This is a fun project for all of those DK minis we love to collect, or scraps from your stash. Mine is knit in the gloriously technicolored shades from KRAEO. Who’s ready for a little bubbly?
