Thank you @leana.h.greene for the beautiful Swedish Christmas celebration. On 13 December, Sweden celebrates Lucia Day. The event symbolizes light in a dark winter. Celebrated annually in December, this historic custom is an atmospheric event involving Christmassy treats and a singing line-up of candle-carrying characters dressed (mostly) in white gowns. #luciadayinsweden #stluciaswedishchristmas #christmastime #christmasiscoming

I’m not a decorator but If love design. Stay to the very end for a cute little surprise. 😊 – – – – #homeremodel #hometransformation #beforeandafter #farmlife #japandistyle #japandiinterior #japandi #whitekitchen #floatingshelves #remodel #remodelling #houseflipping #homedecoration #modernfarmhouse
I’ve been working on this special for a few months and I’m very proud of it. Also, there’s a big surprise coming on Dec. 3rd. The world is going to meet my sweet Julio and hear why he, too, is worthy of love. Finding love isn’t easy for plenty of people. So many are stigmatized for simply being human. Some may be neurodivergent, have experienced incarceration, be subject to ageism, or ableism, or have a secret in their past. But I believe that everyone is worthy of love. Meet some people who beat the odds. Hint: Love is an inside job. And they all began by loving themselves. Can’t wait to share this radio show with the world! Listen live on @kfiam640 or the @iheartradio app.
Plan ahead on how you will establish boundaries on your time, your labor, or your ideas. The holidays aren’t the time to get on a soapbox at home. You’ll miss getting to remember your tribe as they were. Go for nostalgia over debate.

Although some couples live in a social system of “perceived monogamy,” many couples choose to remain faithful. According to research published in the journal, Personality and Individual Differences, called “The reasons prevent people from cheating on their partners: An evolutionary account of the propensity cheat,” there are psychological motivations that help people hold back from cheating. They involve empathy, fear, shame and deep feelings of love for their partner. #infidelity #relationshiptips #psychologyprofessor #lovedoctor #marriage #divorce #cheating #monogamy #psychology #psychologytricks

Changing an ingrained, automatic habit involves becoming mindful of the triggers and rewards of the old habit and replacing those triggers with new “cues” for positive behavior, combined with frequent rewards. This is how the brain learns a new reward system and the new behavior eventually becomes automatic. Be patient. Falling off the wagon isn’t the end of change. It’s an important step where you learn that certain situations or people make you vulnerable to a setback. Now you have a new strategy. Avoid those situations! Research has shown that it takes on average, about 66 days to establish a new habit. Go easy on yourself. Three steps forward. One step back. You’ve got this.
