No Diwali parties but a day full of Gratitude, love and blessings. 🫶🏼💫 From waking up to the sounds of birds to oil baths, pooja, rituals, Amma appa aasirvaatham, oru cute outfit check, our fav veetu breakfast Idly Karikolambu, and car rides with our fav Harris playlist 🎼 the day started with a happy vibe. 😍 When everyone kept asking about our thala Diwali plans, I legit had no idea except one. @raja_vetri_prabhu_ RVP has been my light through the darkness and on this first Diwali of ours, we wanted to be that light for someone else. 🫶🏼 “Avanidame Avanidame enadhu kanavai anuppu” 🥹🎵 Raja has never been used to all these so far, whereas on the other side, I have been part of celebrations like this on festivals. So I made sure, our thala Diwali should be celebrated this way giving Raja a new experience as well. And after a whole beautiful day we spent, when he posted a story yesterday saying “Thanks for showing me the other side of life and making it so worth it” this is what he meant, and we know we did the right thing on the right day! I’ve always been so good with kids but I was a little doubtful whether raja would love this idea or be comfortable around them. 🫂 But seeing him have a great time with these God’s special kids and have a easy and effortless bond with them made me so happy and special that I’ve got a partner who prioritises THIS > over all kinds of celebrations. He once again showed me that I made the right choice by choosing someone who’s going to blindly trust me and our principles forever. >>> After a hearrtful time with the kids and elders we ended our day with a peaceful kovil darshanam, thanking God for everything he’s bestowed upon us along with a kutty car drive and a kutty night walk. 👫 We still can’t believe how beautifully the day unfolded for us, for our first Diwali together. Thanks to the UNIVERSE. 🧿 Our thala Diwali taught us so many things, and this day will always be a special memory in #RnD ‘s journey!! 🫶🏼 . #RnD #DiwaliwithD #ThalaDiwali

During my engagement preparations, I was so keen to twin with Popsie for the big day and took so many pinterest reference images to click images with her but in reality nothing actually worked as Madam was way tired,sleepy and almost cranky 😅 after every event but this chithi’s heart couldn’t let it go and somehow wanted to do a shoot with her in all her outfits so it’ll be a memory for both of us forever. 🥹 I somehow figured out a casual day when she was in her best mood and shot some interesting pictures with her on our Motta Maadi (the same place where Popsie and I have played and had immense fun). While I actually wanted to post these images long ago it somehow skipped my mind and now it seems like these pictures were waiting for a soulful song like this that so beautifully describes our bond!! 🥺♥️ Did the song wait for our pictures or did we wait for a song like this? 😌 “ Namakkuney elundha paatu maadri irukku la popsie ? “ And Popsie’s lovely outfit and my gorgeous skirt that was custom made to twin with eachother 😍 by none other than my forever @fiorebymalar_ ❤️ Just the way Popsie says “Niceeee” these pictures and this song are absolutely nice and stole my heart in every single way!! 🥺 Popsie, may not be my biological daughter but she’s the most treasured piece of my heart and I see her and value her like my own and there’s not a single day that goes by without missing her giggles in our home when she’s away from us! God’s gift, a chosen group, a chosen team, a chosen safe space, a chosen family! We all met at eachother at different walks of life, but one thing that remained constant among us is the love and passion we have for our work and that kutty bucket list wish we all had personally from the very first day we started our career. Today, we are more than happy that we all got to celebrate the dream together hand in hand. The day unfolded so beautifully to each one of us whilst words surely can’t describe how happy we were around each other that day. We enjoyed every bit of the day from the morning pooja, both of the girls keeping flowers for eachother, sitting together as a team for the pooja, sharing kutty kutty cute moments during the pooja, enjoying the Swaha chorus, getting blessing from the elders, watching the 1st sunrise from our office space as a team and watching the milk flowing believing happiness and success will flow in our space, and to enjoying each other’s company remembering our journey sitting in the terrace watching the sky, what a day and what a memory to cherish!! Caption : A simple yet kyoot thala pongal 🫶🏼🥰 Have you guys ever been in a phase where you kept running and juggling between work and never had the time to spend with family? And on one day you decide to keep everything aside and be with them. No project, no work, or no amount of money will seem important to you that day. Our Thala Pongal was that day to us! 🥹 From the morning car drive to chamathu ah dressing up in traditional(I was styled by my MIl so extra happy hehe) to cooking pongal to the pooja to keeping food for the crows to eating the pongal made by us with simple breakfast made at home to spending heartfelt time with our family, it was a wholesome day with lots of kutty kutty moments to cherish. ❤️ As someone who grew up in apartments, I was always used to celebrating Pongal the ‘Very simple Kitchen’ way. This time for our thala Pongal, I got to experience the traditional way of celebrating with big kolams and decorations at the front door, especially varagu adupu la pongal panrathu. Tasted Yummmyyy max & I enjoyed every bit of doing it. Ofcourse my pro-MIL helped me with every step. 😌 I’m sure many of you guys would have seen my parents more often in this space & I don’t think any of you would have got to see RVP’s family. So this is his beautiful mom and handsome dad and my very own cute in-laws. 🙈hehehe. They both are the main reason behind our thala pongal being this wholesome and happy. Of all the beautiful memories from the whole wedding planning and the event itself, this holds a very special space in my heart personally! 🫶🏼🧿 Yes! I was the Bride! It was my day! 🙈😩 But somehow the timing I was supposed to be ready was mis-communicated to me and your D was ready by 3:00 AM on the day of muhurtam. Yes, fully dolled up. Epudi 😎 After all the events that was filled with laughter I hadn’t slept a bit there previous night & I got ready that early only to see that no one even had woken up. 🤨 I went around all the rooms to wake up every single person and finally reached Raja’s room to find him sleeping deep. In fact it was I who woke him up fully dressed up for the day as his bride🫶🏼🧿 Yes. It was me , the “WIFE-to be”. It was my face that RAJA woke up to, on 22.5.23 😭❤️ ( CORE MEMORY) One of a kind and once in a lifetime most tensed morning that reminded me of all the traditional weddings I’ve witnessed in cinema and how much I had manifested for mine to have a touch of everything,came true eventually! That morning was more like a wedding that would take place in a village and the whole family comes over, goes around the streets, gets everyone ready and finally the marriage happens. It was THAT! It was exactly THAT! 🥹 The place and the decor also was set up in a way that touched upon nuances from my dreams and I couldn’t think of a better morning on the biggest day of my life, ever. @wevaphotography being the sweetest accompanied me everywhere that morning to shoot these moments and later gave this video to us 🥺 Been watching this video and as much as I am laughing here it makes me shed happy tears now! 🫶🏼🧿 And and and, our wedding highlights video is ready and we’ve been watching it every now and then only to smile wide with tears flowing! Caption : POV: Finding solace in the calmness surrounded by a walking green flag 🫶🏼🤍 Even though it’s been more thane two weeks since our wedding, it still feels unreal because our bond as best friends remains unchanged. We have never spent a whole 24 hours together, but today having him constantly by my side, and sharing my room 😅 feels different in the most beautiful way imaginable, and I’ve grown to treasure and cherish his presence and enjoy it with each passing day. And what is more beautiful than your husband ( what !?) becoming your favorite roommate to chill and dance around with. 🙈 In his presence, I am reminded of the beauty that exists in the simplest of moments and makes me realize just how fortunate I am to have him by my side. Every little thing he does makes me feel special and valued and shows the sea of love and respect he has in our relationship and I can’t help but fall in love with him more and more every moment. And the most beautiful part is he does it so naturally from the heart. There is nothing more complete than to have found someone who effortlessly brings such joy and comfort into our lives. Caption : #Weddinglookbook Kerala themed Engagement (5/5) 💕✨ After that breathtaking lehenga, it was time to change for “Ring Exchange” 💍 and we had no heart to change the mood board and color palette for the second outfit! But wanted a quick changeover and went for this pleasantly beautiful gold saree that had a blush pink border adorned with motifs of the tree of life from @muhurth.brand ❤️ We looked into 50+ sarees from multiple brands but my heart said “Go for this” RVP approved too! 🫶🏼 The saree by itself was a beauty and just to add some grace to it we went on to experiment with blouse designs. That’s exactly when @d.sign.d came in and gave us a lot of ideas & finally our choice was this blouse with intricate embroidery that added a hint of simplicity, sophistication and tradition to the overall look❤️ Nextuhhhh….Jewelsuhh😌 Our pro stylist @artra_styling suggested to go for a bright temple look jewelery with bright red stones and emeralds to amp up the saree and I abided by it only to find the perfectly looking set from @vriksham that definitely added the touch of gorgeousness. ✨ Oh yes, for my groom! 🫶🏼 Raja wanted the changeover for the ring exchange to be simple. He preferred a “Veshti” and our stylish gave us the choice of pairing it with a Kurta in the same golden shade. As always, his silk veshti and his silk fabric for the kurta were picked from Nalli! We took it all to our Malar Akka @fiorebymalar_ and she made the kurta that looked so good on him! 🥺🫶🏼 Like I said he wanted minimal dress up and just went ahead with his chain and bracelet only! Caption : POV: We waited for something that we knew we deserved, despite the numerous shortcuts that were in front of us, untouched. 🤞 25.09.2023 – We (RVP & D ) got verified officially and all our consistent hard work, passion, love for the work we do and all the efforts we’ve been putting forth all these years, made sense a little ❤️ This moment feels so dreamy, surreal and emotional more than we have ever thought of and our hearts are so full of love & gratitude. A few years ago- “ before it was accessible”, I remember counting all my press features one by one and waiting for that moment when I’d finally be eligible and earn the blue tick! Of course, the paid aspect of it disappointed me a a tad bit yet this human right beside me trusted in me than I did. He asked me to have patience and wait. Yeah that’s what he is. He said, “Nee onnum keka vendaam. Avangley kudupaanga for all the work you do.” And that same human actually got verified 5 minutes earlier than me. 🥹 And this is what I’d like to call “GOALS.” #touchwood 🧿 Together in everything hand in hand! And we found people who were as happy as we were. (And that’s why we knew they were a part of our journey). I always imagined being around my friends, family,l and team when I get verified, but even if they weren’t here with me, I know they are screaming and cheering just as loud for me, with me! 🥺 But at this moment I just want to say a thankyou to everyone: all my family, my friends (who all called but I couldn’t record everyone), and more importantly, you guys!! Caption : #Weddinglookbook Rajasthani themed sangeeth Night! (2/3) ✨ When we were deciding on the Sangeeth outfit we wanted two things- Sophistication and bling. We wanted an outfit that spoke RVP & Deeps and at the same time made us try something unique than our usual style. That’s when @stylingbysamiha set the mood board to neutral colours like beige and sequin combinations. 😍 Our stylist suggested me a flared gown with sequin and net combinations that gave a doll-like look and easy for me to move and dance around without feeling the weight of the dress. And for Raja, we wanted our outfits to match and be coordinated with the theme too. We were looking for a lot of options for him and finally decided to go for a kurta and straight pant set. Samiha suggested going for the same sequin fabric as my outfit to match the bling and she incorporated a very smart idea in his outfit. 💡 @mayon_by_subhathracouture came in and gave life to Samiha’s idea in the most beautiful way possible. They suggested us a lot of design options and we finally decided to go for this. It was a sequin-layered kurta with alternative heights. Yes!!! Caption : #Weddinglookbook A kerala themed – Engagement 💕 (2/5) The moment we decided to have our Engagement depicting Kerala, we were sure to have our outfits reflecting their culture in a unique way that would speak D & RVP. Stylist pavi @artra1210 to our rescue and she quickly narrowed down to the mood boards of Ravivarman paintings. That was it! The next morning we found ourselves at @nallisilksarees since it is an emotion in Chennai, a brand that is known for hand woven silks with the authenticity and quality. I think all of us would have brought something from Nalli during our childhood. La ? 🥹 Shopping for fabrics was so joyful & in no time our eyes fell on a pure hand-woven brocade silk fabric. I turned towards for her approval and she came up with something so thoughtful. She said we can use this same fabric for my lehenga and Raja’s jacket. 🫶🏼 I fell for it! ❤️ Next up was scouting a fabric for my top and we found a beautiful pink! Our forever favourite @fiorebymalar_ worked along with our Pavi for days together for this outfit that I dreamt myself in everyday until the big day. It was a sure head turner for me as well when I had the first look at the whole outfit. Stylist pavi @artra1210 to our rescue and she quickly narrowed down to the mood boards of Ravivarman paintings. That was it! The next morning we found ourselves at @nallisilksarees since it is an emotion in Chennai, a brand that is known for hand woven silks with the authenticity and quality. I think all of us would have brought something from Nalli during our childhood. La ? 🥹 Shopping for fabrics was so joyful & in no time our eyes fell on a pure hand-woven brocade silk fabric. I turned towards for her approval and she came up with something so thoughtful. She said we can use this same fabric for my lehenga and Raja’s jacket. 🫶🏼 I fell for it! ❤️ Next up was scouting a fabric for my top and we found a beautiful pink! Our forever favourite @fiorebymalar_ worked along with our Pavi for days together for this outfit that I dreamt myself in everyday until the big day. It was a sure head turner for me as well when I had the first look at the whole outfit. Don’t you feel the same? 🥰 While Raja wanted his outfit to be subtle & minimal we went on shop a nice Kurta set from @myntra and paired it along with the jacket designed by Pavi (@artra1210 ) and made by Malar akka. ( @fiorebymalar_ ) My jewellery from @rimliboutique and Raja’s shoes from @lifestylestores added some more charm to the whole ensemble!! So I traveled all the way to surprise him on the last day of his vacation in Agra. :’) As an ardent Vaaranam Aayiram movie fan, I’ve always loved the fairytale of Suriya and Meghna, but my heart knew he had always admired the beautiful relationship between Suriya and Priya. Caption : Finding joy in the beauty of life’s little things!🫶🏼 ( watch till the end) Growing up, I had always dreamt about vibing and dancing to Kollywood songs in the rain, imagining myself as the main character of movies. And fast-forward after all these years, I’m dancing in the rain for the FIRST TIME. For 26 long years, it remained a fantasy, but today, it has become a reality. In that moment, I realized destiny unfolded beautifully with the person who cherishes my small wishes. With heart overflowing with gratitude, I embraced the extraordinary in the ordinary moments, standing as the main character in the beautiful story of my own life. :’) And I’m sure I’m not the only one who dreams of feeling like the main character alongside their partners. But imagine having a partner who actually treats you like one, that you are!! How lucky you could be?! Picture yourself dancing in the rain, choosing a song to vibe with, dancing beside your partner, and feeling a sense of wholeness in your heart. Feeling like a queen yourself, la?🥹 If life isn’t about enjoying these little moments, then what is it going to be all about? A moment that totally stole our hearts was when the moment when a kutty boy who passed by recognized us and came running to us, giving a warm and genuine hug sharing his love. Caption : Giving our “Engagement Series” a quick end with an absolutely meaningful PHOTO DUMP! 💕 03.02.2023 – A day that will always be cherished with some fine moments that will be etched in our hearts for eternity. From the moment our parents brimmed with joy during the rituals to when our bridesmaids and groomsmen cheered us with so much laughter to moments before the groom’s entry and the moment when my best friend and my little brothers held the kodai and panthal for us and to Dakshay’s and popsie’s charming cute entry to welcome us- I must admit god was enormously kind to bless us the way it was! 🧿 We wanted an intimate engagement with our closest circle of friends and family and it turned out exactly the way we prayed & hoped for. D hosting the first biggest event of her life and how not to colour code the entire event? 🙈When we put the invites to our people mentioning the colour code we were a tad bit unsure if people would actually give heed to it! Ahh I was moved on the day to see every single person walking in wearing white/beige! 🥹🤍 And then there was something else that made the day more memorable! Yes the venue! RBI Quarters, Besant Nagar- The same place where I was born & brought up. The place holds a tonnes of memories in my heart, a lot of good ones and a few traumatic ones that overshadowed the good ones. (If you know D, you know what trauma i get reminded of whenever I cross that place ) From when the engagement talks were on, Raja was the one who pushed me to fix on this venue & said “Inimey nee cross panra apo. Indha nalla memory varattum” 🥹 That was it. One of the best decisions of our engagement! 🤞 Throughout the day there were so many beautiful moments & we were a lil unsure if 100 people can be happy throughout an event but we witnessed it live that they can. A part of the hall was filled with my friends and family jamming and dancing to our fav songs, the other part with my bridesmaids looking at me with love, the other part with people having food and the other part with my friends taking selfies. That day! Looking back at it makes me teary eyed. A whole day of joy, fun, happiness & laughter! 🫶🏼 . #RnD .
