A big part of this is how few streaming residuals are shared with the artists. The projects I have been most recognized for are not necessarily the ones that I have made the most money on. There is an ever present myth that if you can be recognized on TV, you must be rich. With the way payment models are now, that can’t be farther from the truth. Some actors are able to find financial success, and some, even if they are on hit shows, still barely struggle to get by. Without negotiating a new deal, a fair deal, it will become virtually impossible to make a living as an actor. Another thing we’re fighting for is protection against AI. Right now the AMPTP wants to pay background actors for ONE DAY of work and then use their image as much as they like in perpetuity (FOREVER). This is absolutely rotten!! Lilan Bowden Instagram - SHRINKING S2 comes out TOMORROW!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 To celebrate, I tried to find literally every picture and vid I have from on set Season 1, which are very few because I’m really bad at remembering to take pictures! Most of these I just texted to a single person being like “yay look how good my makeup/hair/what dress they have me in is!” Thank goodness i have this pic of me and Lukita that grounds the whole collection, otherwise I’d have a whole only-in-trailers batch that could have come from ANY set. I’m also so bad at taking pictures I don’t even have any from all of season 2 😂 BUT: between and you me, the intimate bond we have as poster and scrolling follower, I think season 2 just might be even better than season 1. Or maybe same but the point is I think it’s just so so good, the writing is awesome, the cast will make you laugh and cry so hard again, the crew has made this show look so beautiful, (also everyone should know this is the kindest cast and crew!!) and I really think you’re gonna love it 🥰 Oh yeah, the last vid is not from set, but while I was shooting it was around the same time I went to visit my mom who bought me a private ballroom dance lesson from her teacher so I could learn the rhumba (I didn’t request, she just set this up). Lilan Bowden Instagram - SHRINKING S2 comes out TOMORROW!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 To celebrate, I tried to find literally every picture and vid I have from on set Season 1, which are very few because I’m really bad at remembering to take pictures! Most of these I just texted to a single person being like “yay look how good my makeup/hair/what dress they have me in is!” Thank goodness i have this pic of me and Lukita that grounds the whole collection, otherwise I’d have a whole only-in-trailers batch that could have come from ANY set. I’m also so bad at taking pictures I don’t even have any from all of season 2 😂 BUT: between and you me, the intimate bond we have as poster and scrolling follower, I think season 2 just might be even better than season 1. Likes : 3813Lilan Bowden - 3.6K Likes - SHRINKING S2 comes out TOMORROW!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 To celebrate, I tried to find literally every picture and vid I have from on set Season 1, which are very few because I’m really bad at remembering to take pictures! Most of these I just texted to a single person being like “yay look how good my makeup/hair/what dress they have me in is!” Thank goodness i have this pic of me and Lukita that grounds the whole collection, otherwise I’d have a whole only-in-trailers batch that could have come from ANY set. I’m also so bad at taking pictures I don’t even have any from all of season 2 😂 BUT: between and you me, the intimate bond we have as poster and scrolling follower, I think season 2 just might be even better than season 1. Or maybe same but the point is I think it’s just so so good, the writing is awesome, the cast will make you laugh and cry so hard again, the crew has made this show look so beautiful, (also everyone should know this is the kindest cast and crew!!) and I really think you’re gonna love it 🥰 Oh yeah, the last vid is not from set, but while I was shooting it was around the same time I went to visit my mom who bought me a private ballroom dance lesson from her teacher so I could learn the rhumba (I didn’t request, she just set this up).
