There is nothing greater in my work than finding a team of willing, hearts all in, talented collaborators that become quick family. These words were injected into our veins on day 1 of acting school many moons ago. Like a decades-long release medicine they continue to become more and more powerfully relevant and vital. As I hit the midway point on this project I’m filming in my hometown I think about the source of the great Mississippi just up the road. This place and these people, the source of my great river of experience. I’m struck by what a beautiful gift it is, this work. The collective journey of a group of passionate folks laboring long into the night trying to get to the truth. Caring so deeply for something that will soon cease to be, yet protected and preserved in its immortality. Im so inspired these days and nights by my new work mates / friends and very grateful to get to do what I love most.

Families that get cold 🥶 together… hold together. There’s an unexplainable peace that comes from cold water exposure. Once you’ve surpassed the shock and fear, your breath saves you. You realize you’re going to be ok…That you can withstand and overcome and thrive. The flowing peace that comes is overwhelmingly powerful and lasting. I wish you all this peace for 2024.
