Tokyo at 10,000 feet is a mind blowing view. From the 634m Skytree in the foreground, to the 36million people living in the concrete jungle below, you catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji towering in the distance mocking the urban sprawl with its breathtaking scale. For sheer spectacle, nature still wins.

A HUGE thanks to the 500 folks who made it to our FIRST ever Abroad in Japan event in London celebrating our 10 year anniversary! ⭐🥳 It couldn’t have gone better & we’ll be sharing clips from the ridiculous event online very soon. We absolutely hope to do more next year! 🎉 We were incredibly lucky to have the legends at @japancentre support our event & they’re generously giving 20% off to UK viewers of the Abroad in Japan channel! 🇯🇵 Just use the code ABROAD20 at checkout on the Japan Centre website! (And yes I may have already used it on some Matcha Kit Kats). 🎄🇬🇧🥳 Big thanks to everyone who took part on stage and behind the scenes! Including: @microdebu @natsukitheman @heyitssharla @chewinggumvolley @chiakiinengland @zewdoo @daveyp2tm

A HUGE thank you to everyone who supported us on our crazy 900km cycle around Kyushu raising $500,000 for the Immune Deficiency Foundation🥳🥳🥳 We battled through wind, rain & mountains but you were with us every step of the way. It was one hell of an adventure and I’ve no idea how we pulled it off. Currently feeling physically obliterated given this week made the previous Hokkaido cycle seem like a leisurely holiday in comparison. Well done to Connor for keeping the stream going no matter what was thrown at him and to the support of Van Gang and Ironmouse every step of the way. The full video will be up on Abroad in Japan soon! Hopefully we can do the epic journey justice. 📷 Photo credit to Paul Ballard

⭐️Merry Christmas everyone! ⭐️ – Get anything good this year? Santa brought me a Terry’s Chocolate Orange and a remote control snake. Best Christmas ever.
Happy birthday to Japan’s most eccentric man!! Natsuki turns 50 years old today 🥳 What a journey it’s been together. Can’t wait to share our adventure to the summit of Mount Fuji with you guys next week. It’s going to be an instant classic 😂🍿 Why not celebrate his birthday by watching Natsuki travel 5,000 miles, only to almost break his neck in a wind tunnel in Natsuki: The Movie. AND THEN watch him bash out an iTunes chart topping hit on a volcano! Is there anything Natsuki can’t do?! 🤩 (Well, apart from quite smoking).
Some selfies are worth rolling in the dirt for. At long last, Fuji delivered. (And no – it’s not a bloody green screen😅).
MERRY CHRISTMAS GUYS! 🥳 Watched Die Hard, lost Monopoly, won Poker and consumed an astonishing amount of cheese, undoing 6 months of hard physical work in a single day. Also some American guy showed up to steal all the presents from under the tree. Hope you all had a good one! What you get up to?🎄 Also when I was in LA last week I got to see the Nakatomi Plaza building from Die Hard with my own eyes. Made the annual Christmas viewing of Die Hard just that extra bit special this year 😅
Japan’s Snowiest Hot Spring Town | Ginzan, Yamagata ♨️⛩️ Ginzan looks like a scene straight out of Spirited Away. It’s a battle to get to it, deep in the mountains of Yamagata, but with your feet soaking in the warm hot spring water in one of the footbaths lining the streets, it’s the perfect place to relax in the evening blizzard and take it all in ☃️✨ 🍿Check out the latest video on Abroad in Japan to watch us explore it! . . . #japan #ginzan #winterjapan #onsen #abroadinjapan
A journey of 3,776m starts with a single energy jelly. Firstly, thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday guys – I’m officially 33. (Oh yay). But this year to celebrate Natsuki’s 50th birthday we’ve decided to climb Mount Fuji together! I never thought he’d say yes and it won’t be easy, especially given Natsuki hasn’t done any exercise since the fall of the Berlin Wall. No doubt we’ll need to train him up for it. 🍿 But this promises to be one hell of an adventure. – Let’s get him to the summit of Fuji in one piece.
When your awful Disney opinions are shot down by Japan’s smartest robot.
In the last 18 months I’ve been focussed on fitness challenges & the book. But it’s time to get back to Youtube with a big, bold, insane mega-project 10 years in the making. Perhaps the largest project we’ve ever undertaken. It’ll either be glorious or destroy me entirely 😅 Either way it promises to be an amazing end to 2023! BIG reveal next week 🍿 In the meantime feel free to speculate in the comments 😉
🇯🇵 Japan’s BUSIEST Crossing vs. The World’s TINIEST Action Camera #ad As someone who’s constantly stumbling around vlogging on the go, I’ve finally found the perfect camera. #insta360 #insta360GO3 #TinyMightyActionCam
When you know you’re back in Japan 🇯🇵 What a spectacular view to arrive back to after a brain imploding 14 hour flight. Thank you Mount Fuji for being generous for once 🙏😅

IN yesterday’s Journey Across Japan episode, we explored the remote northern region of Akita 🇯🇵 Along the way we faced the arduous challenge of each producing a 90’s themed TV commercial in a single day selling the wonders of Akita to the world. BUT who’s commercial won the contest? Joey or myself. 🍿 You decide! #japan #akita #journeyacrossjapan
My No.1 Hot Spring in Japan 📌 Kurokawa Spring, Kyushu ♨️ I hadn’t been back to Kurokawa Hot Spring since 2021, when we shot the music video for ‘Too Much Volcano’ on Journey Across Japan. I forgot how bonkers the ryokans were here. Everything is on another level, from the private baths in the room to the woodwork and surrounding scenery. A real gem and a top reason to get down to Kyushu. 🎶Kurokawa black river like these tatami…🎶 . . . #japan #japantrip #onsen #kyushu
