Chris Burkard Instagram – “Haddi always made you feel that you were home. In his hugs, in his smile, and especially in the sky. In fact after he passed, Chris and I had a hard time coming back to Iceland…because there was a giant haddi shaped hole here…there still is. Full of joy, charisma, and strong opinions he was unashamed in who he was and he inspired and encouraged everyone around him to live their truth also. I don’t like to think of today as the anniversary of losing him… I prefer to think of today as the beginning of his legacy. He lives on in the humor of his kids, the strength of his love gunnsa, and in everyone who ever shared the cockpit with him.
